The Red Tent is one of my favorite books of all time! Have you read She’s Come Undone? If not…you should. :)

Those are both great books. I have read both, but it’s been awhile so I didn’t think they counted as recently. I’m currently reading Birds of Paradise by Diana Abu-Jaber and I’m loving it. It will go on the list for sure, when I finish. You should read it, too!

I would suggest “The Penelopiad” by Atwood for your list.

    Hi again, Emma!
I’m doing an ArchiveDive here, since I just found you this afternoon :)

Funny, I just had a feeling that “The Red Tent” would be on this list – delighted (and a little freaked out) to really find it here. It’s a terrific example of how ‘changing the questions you ask’ will give such a different answer, isn’t it?

    Happy Tuesday to you!
